any takers on ATT ??

I picked one up yesterday and, once you get past the UI, it's as fast and smooth as anything I've ever seen! I immediately dumped the LG UI because it is even less interesting that Touchwiz and replaced it with the new ADW. Still, even stock unrooted nothing seems to slow this phone down from games to internet to anything else. I'm still deciding on whether I want to keep it or give it back and get a One X+ at the end of this week, but as far as performance goes you won't be disappointed at all.

Phone is blazing fast no lag at all. The camera is poor and I am shocked that it is this bad I am returning mine for a gs3. There are also some weird software bugs one I noticed is sometimes the screen will not register touch and you have to turn the display off and back on to fix it.

The S3 has a text bug where you have to push the "download" button in order to view the text. In my experience it only happens when I receive a picture. Also, when I receive multiple pictures on the S3 it opens as a slide show. This is very annoying and nobody seems to know who is at fault (att or Samsung). Specifically this issue happens more often when texting with iPhones. Does the LG Optimus G have this problem too?

I had to respond to this because my GS2(epic 4g touch on Sprint) does the exact same thing.

I think that only happens when a message is sent from an iphone.

I have received messages from other android users and had the same thing happen so I don't think the finger can be pointed at Apple. My first Android phone was a HTC Vivid and I don't remember ever having this issue.

I'd have to agree there, my GS2 would do that when getting texts from dad who has an Evo LTE or my co-worker with an original EVO even my co-worker who has an iPhone 4 does it to me too.
