There were plenty to choose from today and I bought a beauty. It was no bargain but so what. I'm hungry for it, 
do you get a butcher to do the beef pork mix? or do you do it yourself? never tried a mixture like that.I'm grilling some bork burgers right now. 80% beef and 20% pork. Tomorrow I'm smoking a pork butt. I'm so very hungry for pulled pork! Last weekend the market was out and so was I.
The first time I tried bork it was in Phoenix Az. It came from a small local butcher near my daughter's home. That was around four years ago. I talked to my butcher but working for a grocery chain he couldn't hook me up. Then about a year ago he had it for sale. I asked him what was up. He told me I wasn't the only customer asking for a beef / pork blend and the powers that be decided they would try marketing it. I think you will find the blend in all Kroger stores if one is in your area.
My local market is branded Dillons but it is Kroger owned. The bork is wrapped in the case in two pound packages. Good luck.
i love lamb. it is a bit different then most meats. it is a bit gamy, but really good. i think i bbq'd a few times while back. i think a marinade of rosemary and garlic with a splash of lemon right before it goes on the grill sounds good. i hope they still have some, might have to take trip over to grab me some.I have eyed the lamb chops at Costco as well. I've never cooked lamb and to top that I've never eaten lamb. They looked lean in the meat counter. I would love to give them a try sometime. ... after you tell me how they taste.
Turkey is sounding good to me once again. It takes a month or two for me to recover from a turkey over indulgence but I do love the bird.

No.. not at all. It's just a nickname often used for Walmart. They are based out of Arkansas and have member only stores much like Costco called Sam's Club and regular stores carrying general merchandise and groceries called Walmart.ok so this is sort of off topic. we do not not have wally world out here in the West Coast. are we talking about the same wally World that is in the Vacation movie? so confused

they can be. i'm thinking of having roasted garlic mashed potatoes with grilled baby eggplants in a balsamic vinaigrette as my sides.
Finally had some days off to get stuff done around the house....and grill.

2 weeks....man i would be literally chomping at the bone for some meat. i could never be a vegetarian let alone a vegan. i'm glad you made it thru it. that must have been tough.I broke a tooth two weeks ago while down at the river. I immediately called my dentist but today was as soon as I could be scheduled. Two weeks my friends! Two weeks without meat! Gruel of some sort has been my diet for the past two weeks.
I was told to wait 24 hours before eating anything solid following the extraction but I figured two weeks were enough and grilled out some burgers tonight. I'm such a meat lover that my burger tasted better than any cut of meat I've ever eaten.
i'm a 3rd generation Japanese American, so rice will always be part of my diet. but yeah a good garlic mash beats out rice for me.....though i make a mean fried rice.
