Help Any tips for maximizing battery life???

I would like to maximize the battery life on my Bionic even though I bought the extended battery. I dont want to do anything super complex where it might cause a problem with my phone. Any simple setting tips?

Thanks!

Part 1 and Part 6 are there directly. When I got to the end of Part 6 htere wer links to Par5 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 plus a bunch more.

only use 4G when you really need the speed. such as watching videos or downloading large files. other than that i would leave it off for normal use.

Personal experience

-Take off widgets, they use data, RAM, and power
-Kill any active antivirus such as lookout and get a passive(low impact) one like bitdefender
-Dim screen to 50%
-Try to use Wifi where available.
-Change sync settings to sync once every few hours
-open running aplications and kill services not used
-Unistall task killers
-Root and Rom, Rom such as liberty routinely leaves me with 575 bits of -RAM (less programs running) r3blurred incorporates the .893 fixes exception of Kernel and Radio.
-TURN OFF LATITUDE... HUGE KILLER... its syncs all the time. GPS Kills Battery

I personally keep my GPS on and my 4G on all the time. GPS IS a draining ONLY if its actively in use. I keep mine on* for my anti theft and for maps when I use it.

For me, the app Juice Defender has saved me a lot of battery power. I gain about 4 or 5 extra hours everyday by using it. I have an extended battery and Juice Defender helps it last all day long by disabling data whenever my phone is on standby. Data connectivity continues when you wake your phone up from standby.

Turn the vibrate function off for the four front buttons. Manually setting screen brightness to something like 25-30% will give you better battery life than leaving it on auto brightness. Use wifi instead of cellular data if you are in a wifi area but turn off wifi if you are not using wifi.
