Root Any user of an older cm10?

I need to know if anyone has had a cm10 build that had front facing video working *AND* 1080p that's not purple without the 4.3 camera app..
 
How does the kernel effect the camera? Why do some builds of bobz having working front video and not on his other builds? If it were the case wouldn't the folks that flashed the freedom kernel which is an f kernel have their cameras stop working properly?

gt kernel is actually version c i think. just the aboot needs to be f.
 
Ok so if you flash a c kernel after flashing bobz with the f kernel wouldn't it be assumable that the cameras should work? Im saying this because if we're over writing the f kernel from bobz with let's say gt's kernel we would now be on c and they should work but they don't???
 
So if we can get just the lokid c kernel from hk then could we flash it on cm10 and try to get the cameras to work? Assuming what neeshers said is correct.
