Any Way to Adjust the LED Flash Brightness?

I know that the new Flashlight App in Froyo allows several levels of led brightness. Is there any way to adjust the camera flash to those different levels of brightness to prevent pictures from looking blown out?

I've been looking around the forums, but so far have had no hits. Thanks in advance!

I like where this is going. More manual control of the camera. The stock camera app doesn't allow manual control over flash, but the flashlight app proves that it CAN be controlled, so I'd imagine a non-Sense camera app could build this in. I'm actually thinking of writing a camera app from scratch. I'd like to have some control over the focus, the aperture, and the flash as well.

Please do! I would buy it:D

Me too after the update it clearly too bright i notice that cause I take a lot pic and now Im not taking the many cause of that keep us update it

I would buy that as well... Also make led control for the video recorder as well :-)
If your going to make a cam app from scratch you should take suggestions and best features of other cams and basically make the best cam ever!!!

I would definitely buy! I would like to see some or all of the following controls on the screen so we don't have to keep pulling out the side menu:

Flash Brightness (25%/50%/75%/100%)
Front/Back Camera Toggle
ISO Toggle (100/200...etc)
Brightness
Contrast
Camera/Camcorder Toggle

Oh, and if you can get it to work, allow the Volume Down button to take the picture or start/stop video recording -- that would be cool. I've got my $9.95 ready! :)

That would be fantastic! I'm dying for full manual control of this camera!

Anyone know if there is any progress with this? Any app available?

Also, it would be nice if it was possible to adjust the timing of the flash, which I sometimes feel is a bit off by default. =)
