Let's say that someone wants to hide a file or folder so that it is not visible to others. Is there a way to do this? Sometimes the kids want to use my XOOM, and I'd rather they not see the, um..., episodes of Top Chef that I've downloaded.
yes there are programs in the market. just put a "." in front of the folder (i use ES file explorer) and it will hide. this is the ssme way you would do it on your android handset when you want to, for example, hide alarm and notification sounds from showing up in your mp3 player of choice...
RR File Locker might be what you're looking for. Not sure it'll do entire directories in batch, but it'll hide and encrypt any files you want, requiring a password to decrypt and open.
