Help Any way to hide the notification bar?

CJS

Newbie
I've been following this forum since I got my moment a couple months ago, and I wanted to thank all the posters for the help you've given.

I just installed beautiful widgets and I have a nice clock now, but I'm wondering if there's any way to hide the notification bar. I saw in the thread where everyone posted their screens that many of them didn't have the notification bar.

Thanks for your help.

you can install Home++ which does this for you. It's a home replacement app, in cae you havent heard of it. Though, it suffers from some lag, and hasnt had an update since December.

Most of those that you see are not actually hiding their notification bar, the screenshot utility they used cut it out. I for instance use OpenHome...it has a screenshot utility built in. When I took my screenshot, it cut out that bar.

I honestly can't see why you'd want it gone... you won't know if you have signal...you can't tell if you're roaming... if you have wifi on, you cant tell if it's connected... just all around general nad news there.
