Help Any way to increase performance/speed?

So I'm on my second EVO since it's release (dropped my first one in the driveway about two months after having it). I've noticed the performance has decrease significantly (i.e. slow to open/close apps, slow responsiveness).

Anything I can do? I've actually contimplated just busting it, handing over another $100, and getting a new one.

Thanks in advance for any help!

First guess?

Ditch the task killer your using.

Other than that you'll have to tell us what programs you have installed, what/how many widgets you're using, free internal memory, rooted or not(guessing no since you didn't mention), etc.

You could download Spare Parts, and check CPU usage, or a program called watchdog, that will let you know if a program is "running away" with the CPU.

Software issue. Make sure contacts are synced. Menu > Settings > SD Card and Phone Storage > Factory Data Reset. Don't install any task killers or antivirus.
