Help Any way to replace "Auto Rotation" in status bar with a Display shortcut?

I never use the "Auto Rotation" shortcut in my pull-down notification bar.
And I have a need for quickly adjusting how bright my screen is. Are there any apps to replace the Auto-Rotation for a Display app?

I spent a few minutes looking through Android Market but didn't find anything obvious. Maybe even a desktop shortcut of some type would help.

Basically, I want a super quick way of changing to full-brightness display for when I'm outdoors. Auto brightness just doesn't do it for me.

No need sir! Just go into display settings make it so your brightness is set to manual. Then if you long press on the middle of the notification bar you can slowly swipe left to turn brightness down and swipe right to crank it up!

Yes is very cool feature... Would say it makes the power control widget obsolete... Scroll down has everything power control has and one...

Although this does work to adjust screen brightness, for some reason it doesn't let you adjust for full brightness. Only up to about 3/4 brightness?
Cold just be an issue with my custom ROM though.

Anyone else know of any cool apps for this?

I have used brightness profiles. You can create a profile and select the brightness level. Then place the shortcut on your screen tap it and tap the profile.

Or brightness level. Place the widget on your screen tap it then whatever % you wanted.

So that's how that works? I would accidently bump the bar and screen brightness would change, but, I dint know that swiping workt like that, lol.

Thank you. I had been searching Market using "lights" and "display" as my search terms. "Brightness" is way better and I like the app you recommended so far.

Just FYI, the MiUI ROM has a brightness toggle in the PullDown Notifications bar. Works great!
Too bad the ROM doesn't work with Bluetooth audio or I might have stuck with it.
