Any way to sync contact subfolders?

We are trying to sync contact subfolders with an exchange server but we cannot. Is there some app we can download to do this or is it even possible? We are using the HTC client. I've read that touchdown will sync mail subfolders but there is no mention of contact subfolders. I'd like to know if there is any free resolutions to this prolbem first.
