Any way to voice dial without unlocking the screen like the iphone?

Just switched from iphone 4s. First and foremost, this is a phone. Unlike iphone, I can't seem to voice dial straight from the lock screen. PLEASE someone tell me if there is a way around this. I have to click a button, then swipe, then do my security code, then double tap for voice. This is HORRIBLE. I am considering going back for just this feature.

I also miss getting notifications when my screen is locked. It sits on my desk and tells me when a text comes or fb. Again, let me know if I am missing something.

Otherwise I love it... (although the speaker is a bit tinny)

I just switched also, granted from the i4, not 4s.

However, I downloaded widget locker and then created a single press short cut to open the voice application of my choice (there are a few, such as vlingo, voice assistant, iris, etc) and chose the icon.

Single press, talk to it to do more than just dial from the lock screen. Problem solved.

For notifications, I use Go Launcher EX to change the look and feel of everything, and also downloaded Go Notifications Ex.

There are also iPhone launchers you can get if you really miss the feel of the iPhone (espier launcher)
