Any word on JB for Verizon?

Also, does Verizon realize that the majority of its users don't want a thing to do with the bloatware they put on the phone? I haven't used anything Verizon slapped on this phone.

I think you're overestimating the percentage of users that we make up

Verizon is 3 builds behind on their galaxy nexus, i think its safe to assume they are also quite behind on the galaxy s3 builds. verizon has been the worst by far getting updates out over the past year or 2

Granted there is a lot of bloatware however, they sometimes do make a decent application or two....

They get paid to put many of those apps on there. Money>irritating customers

Its probably not an issue on the s3, but even my non-android enthusiast mother hates the bloatware on her phone. She's run out of internal storage on the device and wasn't too pleased when I told her she couldnt uninstall those apps that she's never touched.

I've been running the second and now third leak for about 3 weeks now.
There's really not much difference IMO.

Good stuff:
Yes, there are more options in Settings.
Cell Standby reporting is fixed.
Transitions do seem faster. But I do notice lag using Apex launcher that wasn't there with ICS. I even tried setting Apex to persistent memory to no effect.

Not so good stuff:
I've noticed a slight decrease in battery life. I was getting 21 hrs w 2 hrs screen daily on ICS, with JB I get about 18 hrs w 2 hrs screen. And if you turn on Google Now, expect to loose another hour or more.

Yes, the 3rd leak may not be the final OTA build, so JB may be different when it gets to the i535.

Now I'm waiting on 4.2 with Photo Sphere! Don't care about gesture typing cause I'll always stay with Swype!

Verizon's just trying to be extra careful that all the bugs are worked out before they release the update because they care about their customers so very much. ;)

There have been some major changes between one of the leaked builds so on this release anyway, I'm going to go with Verizon squashing bugs before release. If they aren't careful, forums like this will light up like a Christmas tree with people complaining about how this doesn't work and that doesn't work and where the hell is the next update to fix all these bugs!

I trust this is being said as a joke, right? I had an HTC Incredible a while back (also on Verizon) and it got TWO OS version upgrades back-to back. The first one was so buggy they had to release another because it trashed so many phones!

This is simply what happens when a company gets HUGE -- like Verizon. As long as they make sales, the couldn't care less about their existing customers.
