Any word on when the charge will be receiving gingerbread?

I talked to a verizon rep today and he said that he had only heard "very soon". Has anyone else heard anything to back up this claim?

Exactly, don't hold your breath. Frankly im shocked this handset didn't come with GB since the Nexus has had it for 6 months already. Verizon now has 3 4G handsets and they are all more or less the same in features I don't get it.

Pretty ridiculous if u ask me! The Charge since its a Droid branded phone should have come with GB right of the bat...
