Anybody buy a longer cord?

I was wondering if anyone has replaced their short turbo cord for a longer one? If so, does it affect the charging speed? Where did you get the cord?

I ordered a cable from Amazon and it has no effected the charging speed.

I used my Samsung 4 foot cable with the Motorola charging puck, and it works fine, turbocharge is indicated and charges fast.

Great tip ShanDroyd... one of those /facepalm moments that I didn't think about simply using a different micro USB cable with the turbo charging puck.

I've been using monoprice 6 and 10 foot cables for years now with no issues. Haven't used turbo charge capability though. In fact I haven't even pulled the stock charger out.

I have a very long cord, probably 6' or so, that came with one of my wife's original Kindles. I'm going to try that, since the "turbo" is coming from the wall piece, not so much the wire itself, unless I'm mistaken.

With the Turbo charger plugged in to a wall socket ant the cable attached ... when you plug the cable into your Droid Turbo does it display a popup announce the connection of the Turbo charger as it does with the cable that came with it?

i did. no issues. charges just as fast.

i purchased a generic 6' usb cord at Fry's. it was like $5.

Any of the usb 2.0 or 3.0 cables will work with the turbo charger from what I can tell so far.
