Help Anybody else experience hotspot problems?

Hey guys,
I'm moving into a new apartment in two days but I won't have internet for 2 more days after that. : ( So I thought I'd create a hotspot with my LG Optimus V to "survive" in the meanwhile.

Whenever I used the hotspot in the past, it really worked just fine. Recently, I renamed my id "Router, I Hardly Know Her" and now whenever I try to create a hotspot it says "Connection failed." but the notification on the top left says it is active. Then I click it to "configure" it and it says that it is not active.

Right now the notification is there saying that it is active, but it really isn't (Checked both with the actual options and checking if the network is visible.)

Are there any tricks on getting my hotspot to work again like the 3G trick? I used to have the 3G problem, but un-mounting my SD card and going into airplane mode or whatever fixed it just fine.

Its likely your 3g. I had that problem reset my 3g doing the plane trick and them it worked. or reboot and rename your spot.

It's Not The 3G, I Have The Same Problem. I Could Have The Highest Signal And It Would Still Fail. Ever Since Re-Naming The Hotspot It Fails To Turn On, But In The Notifications It Says It's Active. You Cannot Change The Settings For The Hotspot Unless It Is Active.
