Help Anybody else get an error with DL09 Update?

in regards to Fascinate:

Everything goes smooth as the update is downloading. That is until I go to my phone's home screen for the first time after the update:


>The application Media sync (process com.samsung.mtp) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

I get that error, and apparently I need to Force Close.


Upon force closing I get sent to the system update menu:
UPDATE FAILED or INCOMPLETE. reason:
IP_PREVIOUS_UPDATE_FAILED


Anybody know what is going on? Thanks

My Samsung Fascinate just started doing that same thing this morning!!! What is going on??? Can you receive text messages? Seems like I can do everything except for receive texts. Weird.

I am having same problem. with Fascinate. I cannot receive text messages. When I send text, the receiver gets a blank message. When I go to settings/USB, I have no USB settings and then get the error: process com samsung.mtp has stopped unexpectedly.
Tried downloading latest s/w update but did not help.

Any help would be appreciated!

Following upgrade I get the same error message as above but I can receive texts just not send any. Text shows as sent but is never received by other. Tech said this error mesage was not the problem, it was regarding my SD card. He was unable to find a fix and wants me to go to the store (50 Miles from here) to see if they can fix. Got to be someone who knows what to do.
