Help Anyone able to pair with a Mindstorms Robot?

Maybe a longshot, but are there any Mindstorms NXT owners out there?

There is a great app for controlling my son's lego mindstorms NXT 2.0 robots using an android phone with bluetooth. My DINC will pair but is not recognized by the Mindroid app on the DINC. Wondering if anyone has gotten this to work and how.

No Mindstorm here (although now I want to go get one!), but the stock Bluetooth stack on the DI (and all Sense phones) is outdated and incompatible with a lot of things. It wouldn't be a shock if LEGO were one of those things, unfortunately. If you're adventurous, it might be worth rooting and installing an AOSP ROM, since the Bluetooth stack on those is a lot newer.
 
Hey thanks, I appreciate that advice. I'm rooted and running Skyraider, but maybe the bluetooth stack isn't as updated on Skyraider. I'll look into it.
 
Ooh, yeah, that'll do it. Any Sense-based ROM like SR will still have the outdated BT stack (this is why you can't use a Wiimote with Sense phones). It'd be interesting to see if it works with something like CM or MIUI.
 
BTW I updated to Cyanogen Mod 7 RC1 and Bluetooth control of Mindstorms works fine. I'm on nightly CM7 updates now and loving this ROM. Thanks to Penguissimo for the insight.
