Root Anyone Else Captivate Does This??

Well I Have PDAnet on my captivate but i decided to try and use the pc internet on the phone...it was working and i felt my fone getting kinda hot...so i look at my battery widget and it say my battery is 123.4...im kind of scared so i was trying to finish wat i was doin on my pc and cut it off but my fone shit off and it came up with a battery and the yellow caution sign and said fone overheated, shutting down..this never did this with pdanet...i was scared lol

Huh... You may want to stick with PDA net. Im not familiar with the pc internet at all though...

I left my phone in a hot car when I went to the river, and when I came back I had to hold my phone up the the A/C vent for 5 minutes before it cooled down enough to use, I had that same warning on my phone. Its just a safety thing

I'm pretty sure later on someone may raise that temp limiter on it. It is just a safety thing so you don't burn out your battery or processor.

Generally it's safe til about 140F. 123F is still ok.
