Anyone else ever have to "drill out" their headphone jack?

So I was on vacation last week and somehow got a bit of wood into my headset jack. I'm sure this happend while chainsawing/chopping wood for bonfires (a staple every night on the south shore of lake Superior.) I could not get my earphones into the jack and on closer inspection I found a bit of wood lodged in the jack. Had to take a 1/16" bit, then a 5/64" bit, and "drill out the wood." Just wondering if I am the first person ever to shove a drill bit into a smartphone headphone jack.

ummmmmm my guess would be yes, but nothing ever surprises me these days

I've had to use a finish nail to remove debris from mine. Pocket lint and saw dust mostly.

I've drilled corrosion out of old mp3 players before but I have not had a reason to drill wood out of one yet. Looks like you're standing tall in this one. lol
