Anyone else following project ARA?

With the possible end of nexus phones due to project silver, I have the suspicion Google's next focus is going to be project ARA. I just bought my Nexus 5 and love it, but really hope the "modular" format of ARA takes off. It will be totally disrupting to manufacturers, but since Google sold Motorola, they won't mind.

I set a google alert for any news on the subject, but it's barely trickling out.

I've been keeping an eye on it since moto announced the partnership with phonebloks

With google behind it now, its only going to thrive.

I think I remember them saying they want a consumer device by the end of the year. Bold.
