Root Anyone else have a touch screen issue?

Well darn it all, tonight about a quarter inch horizontal line across the bottom portion of my screen decided it was not going to respond to touch anymore. Has anyone else ever had this issue? I called support and I am getting a replacement, but that just irritates me that it just up and did that out of nowhere. Stock phone and everything. Well, just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience?

I've had the phone since launch and this is the first time I've heard of it here or on xda. OB

I've had no problems until this, and it has gotten progressively worse over the last day. I have done some research and it appears to be a failing screen digitizer. The screen now inputs touches in the section I described above even when I have the phone just sitting with the screen on. My replacement will be here in about 3 hours or less. It's only been 6 months...
