Root Anyone else having issues with the stock clock widget?

Ever since rooting this phone--don't know if rooting is the cause of this, however--I've had problems with the stock flip clock on my main home screen. (I have only basic root. I didn't put on a custom ROM.)

More than once per day, the clock just stops. However, the small clock in the upper right of the notification bar keeps running and remains correct. Long pressing the flip clock and resetting some things doesn't work. The only way to "fix" this is to remove the flip clock from the screen altogether, then long press that area of the screen and select the clock widget. Doing this puts the clock back on with the correct time. However, several hours later (or more) it once again stops working.

Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this? I searched around but didn't find this same problem anywhere.

Hmm that's kind of odd, I personally have not had this issue, but I can tell you that it shouldn't have to do anything with rooting your device. Rooting doesn't change any configurations or settings or anything on your device, other than adding the superuser binary, the apk and installing busybox. None of that should have any affect on other applications that are running, because none of that is actively running (other than SuperSU's su listener service)

Maybe try a cache and Dalvik cache clear, that often clears up any number of woes.

If you have room, you might also try one from Droid27 (I use the 3D one) just under it, and see if they both stop same way, same time.

Where does one find the one from Droid27? I did a search and didn't find anything, assuming I used the correct search parameters.
