Help Anyone else having problems with the Gallery?

[OvoidDroid]

Hi, all.

Just got my DROID 3 yesterday, and I'm mostly enjoying it. One thing that seems a major downgrade from the original DROID is the Gallery app.

I can't seem to sort online albums in descending date order, which the original DROID gallery did, automatically. Also, when I finally find a recent album and view it, I get a message indicating that no content has been uploaded.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Furthermore, are there better gallery apps out there? Right now, I'm not looking to manipulate or move the photos, just view 'em.

Thanks,
OD

I prefer Quick Pic myself, but not sure if it does the things you need.
