Every time I try to make a back up it will boot to the screen with the Droid and the folder then my progress bar will fill a quarter of the way up with no text present then it will stop and ill have to do a battery pull. Also when I boot into recovery to access my back ups in the clockwork folder the back ups are present but it will say that the file or something doesn't exist.

Are you on .340 or .588? If .588 remember you must use the Droid2 bootstrap. Honestly, I have never had much luck with ROM Manager. I only use it to delet or change ROM names. I do all else through Bootstrap.

I have the exact same issue, also run into the bar getting stuck/havnig to pull the battery thing when installing .zips through RM

I gave up on it and just boot into recovery manually now.

Im on .588. If I go threw bootstrap to my backups and select one it says that there is no file. I really only use rom manager to rename backups and to do backups until it started messing up on me
