Help Anyone else having SMS issues?

Since I got this phone my sms messages fail a lot, I keep getting an error code like 3602 or something like that, trying to get it to fail again so I can see the exact number. But I will send a text, it will come back with the error but my service seems fine being that I can browse the net fast and send/receive emails. Are the sms messages on a separate network then browser and email?
 
so I sent a text message to my buddy at 8pm tonight, he got it at 9pm. Is this common on Verizon? It's getting annoying that when I send a text I don't even know if the person is getting them
 
are you using the stock messaging app?

I would say try a *228 option 1
If that doesnt work give vzw a call, if its failing with the stock msg app sounds like something isnt provisioned correctly.
 
Same here it doesn't happen often, but it's happened to me at lease 4 times since I got my phone about a month ago.
 
If you got handcent yesterday morning get the update that came out later i the day, cause that one release was totally jacked with messages going to the wrong people and other random shit.
 
Just tonight started to receive This error for almost all sms msgs......only 1 in about 10msgs goes through. Almost all phone calls are also failing.....have tried re-programming/turning off etc. Nothing has helped :(

Any ideas what is causing or how to fix?
 
Jennib I just started to recieve this error too today. What apps have you recently updated? Let's cross reference! I really don't want to go through the hassle of getting a new phone and starting over..
 
My phone just started doing this today, I am using the stock sms app. running 2.2 on HTC Incredible. i tried *228 and that didnt help. any ideas?
 
Anyone have any idea or solution to this issue? This morning, my girlfriend's phone began doing the same thing....she can receive texts but not send them. I had her restart her phone but that didn't do anything, she still keeps coming up with the same error. Any ideas?
 
My Incredible started doing this too... started like 2 weeks ago and is happening more and more often now every day. WTF?

Error Class - 3

I had got this error shortly after not paying my phone bill (Not sure if it's related).

I took my battery and memory card out, restarted the phone and it worked.
