Help Anyone Else Having This Problem?

Skyeler

Newbie
I have had my Evo for quite some time now, I have not had any real problems, but now I have had some things happen and am not really sure how to fix. They are not anything major just irritating.

1. About once every couple weeks my phone will reboot for no reason.

2. Everyday, sometimes multiple times a day this will happen. It seems to only happen when I am on either facebook, tumblr, words with friends, or draw something. When I exit or press my home screen button the HTC splash screen comes on for a second then my home screen loads and if I click so see "all apps" you can see them moving all around like they are reloading.

Anyone else having this issue? Any Ideas?

Not sure about your reboot issue. As far as the splash and loading that's when Sense is trying to free up space/ memory

Yup, exactly. Thats the launcher (sense Rosie) redrawing your homescreens. Something is in the background chewing up your memory and causing that. Check out your app list and see what is resource intensive running in the background and maybe uninstall it.

A factory reset may be in order in the future soon.:(

The best thing to do is prepare. Start getting backups of all your apps. Also make sure you have a complete list of your contacts synced with google. I also recommend storing SDCARD info onto the computer. A fresh copy of text, call logs, and what ever else you may wish to keep.

Backing up apps up to 7:00 dollars
Backing up other content about 1-2 hours
Having the insight to ensure all backups are in good working order:

PRICELESS
