Help Anyone else having verizon 4g speed issues in Phoenix?

Not sure if this is the right forum but,

For the last 3 days I have been having extremely slow 4g speeds. Getting around 500kb on speed tests and pages time out most of the time. The 4g icon never goes away and I have good signal strength. Previously I would get around 8-12Mb during the day and around 20 Mb late at night. I called support and we did all of the standard troubleshooting and they wanted to replace my phone, however I have recreated this issue on 3 other thunderbolts from my office. The two representative I spoke with said that there are no issues reported.

My phone is only about a week old and I have not modded it in any way.

Try turning off 4G and see what your 3G speeds are. My experience with Verizon is they won't tell you if there's an outage, an upgrade, or anything else going on with their networks, which from a consumer's standpoint sucks. I wouldn't get a refurb sent out until it's absolutely necessary. The quality of the refurbs coming down the pipe is atrocious.

I called them and this time the tech support rep escalated to the engineers. Good call on enabling 3g. I am now getting double-triple the speeds as I was getting the the broken 4g.
