Root Anyone else thinking of switching back to root?

I'm a noob and all, but I have to admit that the official 2.2 update SUCKS. I was running SC before and I am thinking I am going to go back to it. For all intents and purposes, it looks exactly like Eclair, and nothing like the FROYO that I was running before. Did I do something wrong or is this just how the stock 2.2 looks?

Yes, what you're associating "Froyo" with was the Super Clean customizations. Either go back now, try Evil Fasc, or wait for a good theme to appear on ED01.
 
Thanks. I am thinking I am going to go back. As usual, disappointed in VZW and Samsung. Par for the course, I guess.
 
Try out the new ED01 Community rom. It is developed by a few of the SuperClean developers and some others. Its based off of the OTA but has been customized completely and runs great.
