Anyone ever use the kickstand? What for?

I never said heavy, now your just putting words in my mouth.

Added weight because its something I won't use. It weighs more then nothing, so yeah added weight.

I would prefer more battery space, that's just me.

ive actually used the kickstand for practical use. Of course for watching movies.

But even lastnight, was at a Carnival, and took a video of my friend's daughter riding the bumper cars.

When we sat down to eat, I convenietly showed my friend the video, kickstand down for a perfect view on the table.

And what happens every time???? She looked around to the back of it to see that it was a kickstand holding it up lol.

I use it with my bluetooth foldable keyboard and the keyboard is a quick and easy way to prop the phone up as a monitor.

While waiting in my car, I'll set it on my dashboard and watch videos/Sprint TV.

At home, I'll set it down with the midnight clock feature on.

I think the Kickstand is the primary reason why the Evo kicks the Droid X's butt.

Try grams, a few ounces would be devastating with a phone that only weighs 6 total.

I wish the kick stand could have been centered,....but with the battery I guess that isn't possible.

I read somewhere that a centered kickstand would have to have a wider base in order for the device to stand up, it has something to do with the weight distribution of electronic devices not being even on both sides, hence the one end kickstand, other devices (and most picture frames) also have the kickstand off center (or from center, but at an angle)

I would have like the kick stand to be longer and so the phone is more upright. I like to lay back on my bed and put the kick stand on my stomach, but then it's angled up into the air. I should return this damn thing because of it, oh noes! I keed I keed

During a phone call I just place the call on speaker and kick it. Also, its perfect for a conference all or something.

I mostly use it when listening to music for better sound from the speaker.
