Help Anyone experience this issue?

Hi guys, I've been coming to this forums alot its one of the main ones use to learn more about my phone. I have the huawei ascend with cricket. Lately for the last 3 days my phone has done the following thing once per day. I turn it on and the time is off on the home screen as well as the notication bar. Like if it gets stuck and i don't notice it until i compare it with my wifes phone or another clock. I turn it off then on at it fixes it but Im wondering if anyone else has experienced that. I have rooted the phone, i tooke off bloatware,only the safe to remove ones, none with google related, not even canvas because i need it as backup incase launcher pro craps out. Also I unroot the phone if im not using titanium back. I thought i had done something to it by accident so i reset it back to factory using the dl from custom roms but it did it again yesterday, after i had installed all my programs,rooted and deleted bloatware, unrooted. wierd. again the time on my ascend stays behind, like stuck untill i reboot phone. once per day last three days.
 
i have not experienced this once.

but, you say that you unroot the phone when not using titanium. why do you do that?

when you reset back to factory settings, did you recover the files that you uninstalled(bloat) before resetting?

just a thought.

@ etrok, i unroot the phone because after uninstalling the bloatware, I don't use titanium anymore and to make sure my wife or anybody else doesnt mess with advance setting root provides. I did get back all system apps everything just like the phone was out of the box.

@joser, thats the one i have on my computer, i the the reset using that file. After that i did the whole rooting, getting my apps back, taking off bloatware procedure again. Then i experienced the time lapse again. Its wierd i guess i'm the only one. I also started expreriencing it when i tried handcent 3 days ago but after i uninstalled it it continued like I said once a day, thats why i did the factory reset with the file form custome roms. But no it did it again yesturday. I post again if it does it again today.
 
Did you try turning off phone, pressing volume up, Send key, and Power button at the same time, and releasing them all AFTER the phone vibrates, then selecting wipe data/factory reset, yes, then select wipe cache partition, then selecting reboot phone?
 
Ive actually had this problem too.

What I did was uninstall my task killer (Advanced Task Killer) and then everything went back to normal.

Now I just use the stock "Running Services" instead of a downloaded app.

my wife had to go to the cricket store, so i asked the guy there to refresh mysignal, so far so good, even the doulble texts stopped. i must have accidently force closed or turned of something that syncs the time with the network, i did u atk to see what processes run but i uninstalled it because ive read an overwhelming amount of date that it causes instability. Now my phone is 100%, great thing their is a recovery update, i like being able to get rid of all the junk from trying out apps. Handcent is great but I am a little hesitent to get it again because that is around the time my problem started. well now without the bloatware my phone is flying, even launcher pro which used to lag a bit before doesnt anymore, in that time i used Zeam launcher which is great. If you want a small launcher that is almost as cool as launcher pro just trimed down that one is good, especially for our 600mhz phones.

I haven't heard of Zeam Launcher before. Do you get it at the Market?
 
Jass, Zeam Launcher is in the Market. I just finished trying it and quickly uninstalled. It just didnt feel right, polished, or balanced. I think you would see that too. I am almost 100% sure you will uninstall Zeam. I prefer Launcher Pro over Canvas, and prefer Canvas over Zeam.

I can't even remember what Canvas looks like now. hahaha It's gone bye bye anyway. ;)

Have you ever used GO Launcher. So many rave about it but I tried it and didn't like it.

Yes, actually I had tried Go Launcher way before I recommended Launcher Pro. The task killer feature was nice, but it didnt feel polished and felt like a low quality app compared to Launcher Pro. The App Drawer felt clogged somewhat

That's just how I felt about it. You converted me to a die hard LP fan! LOL

(I answered your question about how to hide the dock over on the share your desktop thread. Some nice person sent me the instructions. :) )

I tried Zeam when i read on the reviews that Launcher Pro was locking people out of their phones. I wanted to be safe untill I found out that if you were up to date you were ok. At that point I noticed that Zeam didn't lag like Launcher Pro laged at times, and wasn't a battery hog. The size was also perfect if you craved a simple but much better launcher than Canvas, Canvas sucks especially the way it zooms in on pics for wallpaper. Zeam does the same thing for your pictures that Launcher pro does so that was perfect for me. I do like Launcher Pro more, but for people that don't root and still have all the bloatware, I think Zeam is better because Launcher Pro is to big and too slow on stock Ascend.

What a coincidence. I had my sisters phone and I deleted the stock launcher and installed Launcher Pro. Then I did a factory reset which erased all the apps, including Launcher Pro. After the reset finished, since I had deleted the stock launcher, I had a blank black screen, the only thing I could see was the Notification Bar. I couldnt do anything. I had an idea. Maybe if I sent myself a message it will come out in the bar, and that would get me in the messaging app. I did exactly that, and once I got into my messages, I sent a message with a link to google.com. that way, I clicked on the link and it took me to the browser where I downloaded Launcher Pro from Appbrain. I pressed Home and problem fixed.
