Help Anyone Experiencing Google Music Nexus Problems?

I just got my Nexus, loving everything about it except the music app. Music plays fine as anyone would expect, but the second I keep it playing and turn the screen off my music turns choppy and unlistenable.

Anyone else experiencing this?

are you playing music that you've loaded on to the phone? or music that your streaming from Google music? Also is this a GSM model or LTE? If your streaming it from Google do you experience this when on the Cellular network or the WiFi network.

Thanks! I literally just got it a day ago so my phone isn't rooted and i'm not streaming the music, i just copied the files off my computer.
