Help Anyone familiar with an "Amplify" brand tablet?

Got to talking about android stuff with someone I know, and he said he has this tablet but it's dead. This is a specialty tablet designed for schools, grade k-12. No clue where this dude got it, but he wants my help to fix it. It seems to be bricked, but not sure. Led flashes when charging but won't turn on. He said he was trying to update or something and it crashed. I'm hoping someone would know how to enter safety mode on it. I'm really excited at the possibility of getting to check out a custom android OS! (If I can fix it lol)

Have you tried the charging it with a wall outlet yes electrical socket. And then try the button combo to get into recovery . I need to know was it rooted did you try to reset it it from a reset hole on the exterior of the tablet it will have the words RESET

I don't think it was rooted, but if it can be saved he wants me to do so. So as long as the recovery file hasn't been messed with, a factory reset should fix it I would think, right?I don't have the tablet with me, he's going to let me borrow it tonight, and I can try to put it in recovery mode then. I'm not sure how to do so with this thing, but I'm sure it can't be too hard to figure out lol only so many buttons

Well when you get the tablet post a photo of it and examine for a reset hole if none .we worry about the reset once you charge for about 8hours

Here is Amplify's website. I would be very wary about messing with it. These things are designed for use in schools and are probably both tied to a specific server relationship and are loaded with security, both for the protection of the school and the child's privacy. Best bet would be to get support directly from Amplify.
