Help Anyone Figured Out The Search Button?

Long pressing on the search button brings up a superb voice search option.

Great I thought...

I went into settings and unchecked all the boxes except for music search.

Yet everything I search for brings up web addresses.

When I single press the seach button I see that the 'music' search icon is there but it is also joined by a google icon that says 'all'.

So... anyone know how to voice search the music on my phone as it can be done but takes about 7 key presses in PowerAmp

It just seems to be this 'all' icon that is making every seach throw web results at me instead of searching my phone.

Any help of this one would be appreciated so much,

Cheers.

(BTW, I swapped my LG GT540 for this HTC Wildfire S)

Yes, the long press is very useful. You can also replace the default voice search. I have installed Jeanie as it is a bit more useful, such as being able to say "Set alarm for 7 am tomorrow morning".

how do you replace the standard Google voice search using the seach button Hexx?
I have downloaded Jeanie but cant figure out how to link it to the search button.

Cheers.

Since i've installed GoSmsPro, I get the option of "GO sms compose" and "voice search" when i long press the search button.

Well I have figured out Jeannie - you simple install it and on the first use of the long press on the search button it will ask you if you want to use Jeannie in future.

Anyway, Jeannie does exactly what I want it to (ie) I can say... "find music depeche mode" and it will open up PowerAMP with a list of all their album.

The same works for finding just individual songs... "find music after the goldrush".

Thats all I want from Jeannie.

I tested out a few things with the app like asking it for reminders etc but it was all a bit too... erm... dicey.
Just dont use the command to ask it to read out your text messages as detailed on the official site - as they dont tell you how to stop Jeannie from reading them all out and I had to wipe the chache, clear defaults etc etc to get it to stop everytime a message was received.
