Anyone finding Tapatalk 2 slow?

On certain forums like XDA and Android Central I'm finding my Tapatalk slows down and hangs quite a lot, anyone else seeing this happen? I clear the app cache and that seems to help but within the same day it bogs down again. I notice it hangs a lot waiting to load forums as well as replying to posts.

I'm not finding it slow, but it has been losing my "Favorites" in each of the three forums that I follow. So far, the only fix is to clear the data in the Tapatalk 2 app, and then log back in to Tapatalk 2, and each of the 3 forums. My phone was recently updated to 4.1.2, but these issues were going on before the update. It has been a big pain.

It's hit our miss for me. It's working fine now. Sometimes it seems to get stuck when opening a forum or thread

Every now and then it'll start to hang on me, but a quick clear data fixes it for me.

I don't understand this at all: for the last 2 days all the problems I was having getting tapatalk to load my forums have disappeared. I have done literally nothing at all differently.

Does this app go through a tapatalk network or does it communicate directly with forums? Does the tapatalk plugin for websites that enable it communicate with tapatalk servers in any way? That would explain the change
