Anyone found a new MSL method?

I forget the exact name of the rom, but it's the one that has the numeric countdown for the boot screen, and the drop bar on main usage screen says whiteout. Anyway, I saw that the phone number to contact boost about the msl number had changed and never saw a new number. I don't have a computer, so methods concerning one aren't possible, i've tried the terminal emulator method, with flashing the gc01 mms fix, tried alogcat method, nothing is working. Anyone have any up to date info that can help me out? I ask this because I have the famous issue of being able to receive mms, but cannot send.
 
That's the method I just tried earlier today. I used android terminal emulator and when I type in the command, all it does is start a fresh command line below it. No numbers or anything. I flashed the fix through recovery but didn't clear any cache, if that matters?
 
Yes, just flash the toolbox for FI03 then boot the phone normally (it may take slightly longer on that first boot but that is normal). You should then be able to open a terminal emmulator on your phone as normal and use the getprop command.

Everything worked as normal with FI03's toolbox (all my start up apps worked fine), and you may be able to leave that one in, but the post does have the one that goes with your ROM to go back to.
 
Would you recommend going back to gc01? I don't have internet or anything and I run security at a bar, so I don't have a lot of time to mess around. Just wanna be done and on the safe side.
 
Well I had no problems when i was using the FI03 toolbox on the GB27 ROM, but I did flash back to the toolbox for GB27. I haven't had a chance to do any extended testing of leaving FI03's toolbox in place. I have both files on my phone's sd card and can flip to it if needed.
 
Just caught in another thread to go back to GB27. Do I do that, then gc01? Or just leave it? Also, what exactly does the address thing need to say? Does it need to be my name that's already on there @mm.myboostmobile.com ????
