I have my Nexus S 4G on PagePlus as well as a LG LX370. These were both Sprint phones and work fine other than the ability to update OTA. The Nexus S 4G only shows 2 bars but that might be a hardware misread issue from that phone..
I used the Kitty PagePlus PRL which is over a year old and would appreciate someone posting a more current PRL
