Root Anyone getting "Android" text during bootup?

[reisb]

during one of my rom installs, I now get "Android" on middle of screen top to bottom (sideways). This shows/blinks during startup with Samsung and Verizon bootup screens underneath it in background.

I don't notice any problems, but was curious.

It's probably a custom boot animation. Developers put those into their roms as extras.
