Anyone got a Google Voice Invite?

Since the debut of Google Voice, our early users have shared lots of feedback that has led to some exciting new features, like the ability to receive SMS messages via email and the option to change your Google Voice number. But one of the most frequent requests we've received is for the ability to share Google Voice with friends and family.

Starting today, we're beginning to give out invitations to Google Voice users. If you currently use Google Voice, over the next few weeks, you'll see an "Invite a friend" link appear on the left-hand side of your inbox.



We'll be rolling out these invitations gradually, so don't worry if you don't see your invitations immediately. We're initially giving out three invites to each account, but we're planning to provide more invitations in the future.

If you don't have an account yet, you can request a Google Voice invitation at google.com/voiceinvite.

Yes.

Find someone who has an invite and get them to invite you, or

Go to Google Voice and click the request an invite link.

I have repeatedly checked my account, and althoug I have been on Voice a while now, I still ahve no where to give out invites from....
 
Thanks so Much for your help, since I sell Verizon it's a huge selling point and would really like to be able to show customers, if anyone would invite I'd be very grateful!

You might try asking in the lounge too, since it seems a lot of folks go there....

In the lounge there are some people giving them out. Just be aware, when someone invites you it is not immediate. In some cases it still takes a couple days to come through.

Also, I've been in a google voice user for a long time as well, and still don't have any invites to give out.:(

I guess I missed a few opportunities too to get invites. But I guess it's cool Google is giving users the invites to pass out. I remember they did that when gmail first came out too. It worked pretty good. If anyone has any invites please PM me if you could. I love using Google products! They might actually be the one's to knock off Bill Gates! :-)

I can check for you when I get home from work later this evening to see if I have any available invites. Also from personal experience its a great program but for my G1 it slows it down quite a bit.
