Anyone got a Google Voice Invite?

Just curious about people's experience with requesting Google Voice Invites? I requested one the same day I got my Droid (Nov 6th) and still haven't received it. What kind of turn around are others seeing that have recently requested one?

I had an invite way back when the service first launched and I never used it. I'm concerned that not using it may have screwed things up where Google won't send me another one.
 
I signed up probably around the time they went up, and still haven't gotten an official one. Signed up again 2 or 3 months ago...nada.

Finally just bought one off of ebay for $2. Problem solved.
 
Yeah, I never got an official one from Google either. A friend who was with the service since before Google bought grandcentral sent me an invite.
 
I think I requested it in August or so? I don't remember the exact date, but it was a little bit after the announcement of GV. I got an invite in September.
 
I signed up for one as soon as i heard google bought grand central (back in 2007), i didnt get my invite until july of this year. I have a friend who signed up before me and he still hasnt gotten an invite from them, when i got invites to give out i gave him one
 
Does anyone know how long when you already have GV- that you get to have some invites? I have had it for a little over a month.. and have never seen the ability to send invites. Just wondering.

finally got mine last month, so maybe 3 months? but it could be different depending on how you use it
 
what I don't understand is that if everybody who receives an invite can send 3 more, why are so many people still waiting.
please, I urge anybody who has an invite to invite others.

I would love to get an invite if anyone has one that they are willing to spare. I have been waiting for a LONG time to get an invite.
 
I'd also love an invite if anyone has one they'd like to part ways with. My gmail address is the same as my username.
 
I'm also new to the forum and have a Droid on the way from Verizion. If anyone has a spare invite, I'd greatly appreciate it.
