I haven't traded mine in, but it usually only takes a few days and everyone has gotten the black one that I've seen.
I got a couple of calls, they left a voice mail and a sent a bunch of texts. I was getting them around the end of August, I think they're doing it in stages. A lot of people over at Cricketusers have had problems with their Mercury and I haven't so far. My luck I would trade in mine and get a bad one. Plus I have one of the old ones and haven't updated it at all, so I don't have Muve music on it and my picture messages work perfectly. Everyone has had problems with that after the updates. I also have the Zagg full body kit on the battery cover and don't want to buy another one. (it really works, you can't scratch this stuff!)So you got the call to? When did they call u? I have never had a problem with my phone, but I figured I'd love a free new phone, even if I have to reset it up. Why have you decided not to get one?...or are you waiting to see what others say.
I'm suppose to get my phone in 4 business days, so maybe next tuesday. From what I heard it is exactly the same with android 2.3. I'm curious if the microphone will still suck. I just left a msg about this on the stupid question thread.
I'm stoked that I get a brand new phone for free, even though it's the same. This time I can protect the rear from scratches since I know it scratches so easy...if it is black.
That has nothing to do with the replacement phones. Cricket has new plans and Muve is included on all of them. The new cheapest plan is actually $5-$10 cheaper, $50 for 1 GB full speed data and Muve music. They also now have $60 for 2.5 GB and $70 for 5 GB plans. The $50 and $60 plans also have free tethering included as well. The plans will not change automatically, you have to change it yourself either at a dealer, online, or by phone.I heard we were getting free muve music?? is this true??
if your worried about the skin why not just keep the back panel when you do the swap out? my biggest worry is the non google apps being lostI got a couple of calls, they left a voice mail and a sent a bunch of texts. I have had second thoughts because I'll probably need to buy a battery soon, but I can buy a battery cheaper than another Zagg Invisible Shield.
Your apps are synced to your Google account so as long as you sign in with the same gmail you can download any paid apps without paying again. Knowing my luck I'd get a lemon if I traded mine in lol.if your worried about the skin why not just keep the back panel when you do the swap out? my biggest worry is the non google apps being lost
Yeah, you have to have the Muve SD card to use the Muve service. That's one of the things that sucks about it. Also, you can't transfer the music anywhere else, and it's in some super compressed format. I haven't tried it, but I can't imagine it sounds that great. I can understand why you can't transfer the music, that's probably the only way the record companies would go for it. It would be huge for piracy if you could download unlimited music and move it to a computer.I appreciate it. What's the deal with needing a muve sd card in order to download the music. What is the point of that? I'm just learning about this, so I don't know much about it.
Do you have a Muve music sd card, or will you get one. I mean, if i have this music available, I should get it, but what about my 16GB sd card. This whole thing kind of pisses me off.
Is it impossible to transfer muve music downloads to a regular sd card?
Lol, yeah, not that big of a deal. I wouldn't use it, either. 3 GB for music, and 1 GB for everything else? Weak.Yeah, I read that in the thread you posted. Honestly I think that guy ripped me off, partially cause he didn't know what he was doing (he had to make phone calls asking questions), and partially cause he's a bastard. I try not to think about it. I got a new phone, and paid a perhaps unnecessary 15$ on it and no sd card.
I'm not gonna drive my self crazy on this. I would'nt use the card if I had it.
