for anyone else reading, i highly recommend using Dynamic Notifications (pro) as a lock screen.
Moto X style notifications, auto-wake when taken out of your pocket (optional) and a great developer behind it :thumbup:

Nah mate but when you press the lockringng it gives you a preview and depending on how you swipe, you can go straight to the app the notification is for, unlock the phone, or dismiss the notification.
You have to try the free one to understand it really.
it saves battery on LED displays like the s3 because you can have a black background which uses no power.
Its great to just pull the phone out your pocket and the time and notifications are just there in a minimal way

You can use it over the top of your secure lockscreen too but im not a secure typa guy lol
