Help Anyone have a pinkish screen?

I know this was a problem with some Droid Incredibles. The whites come out pink. My wife and I each have Incredibles. Hers has the pinkish screen and mine had beautiful whites. My Thunderbolt screen is even more pink than my wife's Incredible. Anyone else seen this problem?

mine seems a little pinkish as well. But it might be because I just put a screen protector on. It didn't look that pinkish before I had the screen protector on.

I am considering exchanging my phone. However it doesn't bother me that much, or may be thats how the super LCD is. Knowing best buy they would not probably exchange it for me, they will say something is wrong with my eyes.

I went back to Verizon and all of the Thunderbolt screens are like this, at least the floor model was and the phone I exchanged for was.

Im not seeing any pink on my screen at all...i dont know what would make the shipment to your store like that either? Maybe water damage or something?

Could just be the glue issue like some iphones had?

HTC screens are notorious for the pink where white should be on the screen. It's more of a warm tone, cool tone thing. EVO had this issue as well.

But more importantly. I just noticed light peeking up on the screen from the bottom..ughhh!

Holy crap I saw that to haha!!! Its not that bad though

EDIT: At least it doesnt bleed through when your looking at it heads on.. Got to look at an angle to see it

Damm it...I had that on my EVO! And it drove me nuts if I ever used the phone in a dimly lit room. Good goin HTC...

I don't know if this is the same issue or not, but when I tap the touchscreen, certain grays will turn pink. Doesn't affect the colors in the on-screen keyboard or pure white. But any other minimally saturated color. Maybe its a function of the spacing of screen layers or something.

Saw this pinks screen but the weird thing is that its not all the time. Is would show up depending on the type of lighting. It was cloudy yesterday and that's the only time I saw it. Has not showed up at all today.

I've got a Dinc, DX, and T-Bolt. Got them sitting side-by-side, screen brightness at max/100% viewing Google Maps in plain map mode (very light background). The DX is by far the brightest and whitest of the three. The Dicn has a sort of greenish/brownish hue, and the T-bolt has a pinkish subdued color tone to the very light colored backgrounds.

The T-bolt is very pleasant to look at really--not as overly saturated (to my taste) as the Dinc, and not as stark white and bright as the DX. But also perhaps not as true to color? Dunno.

I don't pretend to understand the technology of these screens, and perhaps these variations are inherent to the particular screens.

I'm a week into my T-bolt purchase from local VZW brick-and-mortar store, and I'll think I'll swing by there and a Best Buy and look at display models next to phone.

The colors on my TB are brilliant. Way better than what I had on my DInc. No pink at all on either DInc or TB.

Did you get a chance to put them side by side? Again, not that any of this matters. My post was a continuation of the OP's comments. I don't find the pinkish overtones either apparent or troublesome when not looking at other device screens concurrently.

I had mine got a new tbolt and the screen is so much better and beautiful. Mine had pinkish tone and terrible brightness. best buy replaced it for me.

Yea, the TB looks just like my DInc did just alot sharper color depth, and bigger screen :D The only difference I've seen is in the GMail window on my DInc I had a pinkish tone a tad on read emails, but it's a little cooler blue tone on my TB. Everything else looks great.
