The link didn't work because the forum edited out the site. Did you try to root with it?

im over at the desire 510 with boost trying to get root with them but i looked at the specs for the desire and sharp.framaroot 1.9 apk should work

Thanks I downloaded it and it said failed error 6. Since this phone just came out they probably patched all the exploits. I really need root so I can tether to my tablet though.

Is MINISTRO II a possibility? I don't have the phone (yet); my wife wants it, and I myself may leave the Moto G gen I for this...IF...root access can be attained..

I dont have this phone but 2 things you could try are root master, look it up on google it is an app you download, and the other is kingo. Kingo supposedly is able to root most phones. Root master has rooted every phone i have bought. Never hurts to try.

the website that was posted in the second post, found easily enough by coping the part of the address that can be seen and pasting into google says to use kingo. so i dont know if anyone tried that.

The concept kinda reminds me of the first root for the Samsung Transform Ultra...but I can't say just yet...

Don't waste your time, I wasted enough on this crap for all of us.

Dont kno if this helps but for the alcatel one touch fierce 2 we had to lag it out with antutu while using kingroot to root it

Yeah, on the Volt we originally had to delete the laf partition, in order to expose the bootloader.
