Help Anyone having problem with Google Now not pushing cards/alerts to notification area?

For quite some time now Google Now has stopped sending me alert cards.

I have it set up to send me traffic alerts for my daily commute as well as stock quotes.

Have gone into setup to make sure it is enabled. Have made certain that my browsing history is turned on within Chrome.

Is there something else I may be missing? I am sort of thinking perhaps another app cancelled out the daily notifications.

I still get all of mine, including package shipping confirmation.

I am sure I am getting some updates, but definitely not all. It is kind of hit and miss.

My Google Now hasn't been working at all lately. .. every time I use it to do a search it just hangs with the circle going round and round.

So I have to open the browser and just use google.com...

I just tried it this morning when my coworker asked if Android has something like Siri. I showed him Google Now voice search. Worked perfectly.

When mine isn't pushing out cards as it should. I normally go to the play store and open the app from there. After that it will usually populate..
