Anyone in the UK got their Nexus One yet?

Make sure to go into the settings and tick "Only display contacts with phone numbers" or something along those lines. That filtered out the crap from my contacts.

I too had a lot of trouble with the phonebook when I first started, due to using a mix of Google Contacts online, typing things in manually, and syncing with Facebook and Gmail.

I found the best way of sorting it out in the end was to go to google.com/contacts, ad my contacts in and assign them to groups. You can then select which groups you want displayed. I have just 'family' and 'friends'. That way only those numbers show up.

...Oh, and if you've manually added in contacts (including birthdays etc) you may want to delete them before using google.com/contacts as I have ended up with contacts with multiple identical birthday entries and no way to delete them. Veeeery strange. But not something that can't be fixed once Google step up and start rolling out updates. And while they're at it, if they could just make people's nicknames come up instead of full names, I'd be a very happy bunny. Sending a text to my dad my typing in his full name instead of 'dad' is very strange!

In the in-built messaging app I can type nicknames and it finds the contact, but doesn't seem to work in ChompSMS.

I'll hope they get it to you before then! I was in all day and didn't get mine until just after 4pm. Well worth the wait tho.

Be sure to update us on Monday! :)

Mine turned up at 14:30 odd, and I was pulling my hair out by then as I couldn't be sure someone else would get the door!

Guys. GUYS!!! *waves arm frantically*

Who here is on o2 simplicity? Just saw another thread about o2 MMS settings, and when I went into my APN settings page, both of them (that were skanked from a post on page 1) have "[disabled]" next to them (where it says "o2" and then "mobile.o2.co.uk", after that bit it says [disabled]).

This is clearly not normal. Someone tell me what I've done wrong please!

oniongirl... I updated the other thread with O2 Simplicity settings I'm using which work for me. Give them a go and if you have any probs, shout back.... best o' luck.
