Anyone in the UK got their Nexus One yet?

After weeks of lurking, reading and agonising I've placed my order!
Now need to sort out a network - I don't have any existing ties/committments and was thinking of going with 3 - if any one has any helpful advice it'll be gratefully received - I've not had an internet-capable phone b4.

Any of you guys and gals on orange, if so what is your signal like as mine is crap most of the time. :-(

'Fraid not. My o2 signal is TONS better in the Nexus than it was in my old phone. But still uses 17% battery over 8 hours of sleeping for 'cell standby'. Have taken to putting my phone into aeroplane mode whilst sleeping to avoid this.

My Wife's Orange signal is way better than O2 where we live.

I hark from Rugby and when we're visting folks I get a great signal on my Nokia :D.

Have to say the Orange signal here in the sticks of Northants is awful.. O2 is marginally better..

Has anyone noticed on O2 their signal degrade once getting an android? My mate is convinced his winmo HTC is at the bottom of the 'cell priority list' with the iPhone at the top.. I'm very tempted to place that N1 order but the QA issues some have had plus the possibility of going to the bottom of the pile for reception is a little worrying..

If the webstore received my order, does that mean the payment has gone through?

:( Sorry my friend. The next step is "Google Phone Webstore charged your VISA xxx-xxxx for $558.65. "GOOGLE *Nexus One" will appear on your credit card statement."

Mine happened the same US day.

We live on the outskirts. Toon is supposed to be 3g here but it isn't at my house for some reason - on any phone. It's fine as I go nearer to town.

got mine:D. i got a shaver plug but its only got a 1 amp fuse in there and the plug says for shavers only?. is 1amp fuse right?

Finally got mine! Was already 8days in the UK but today was the day my friend came to Belgium. Can't wait till it's fully charged! :D

Happy time!! (if nothing is broke when I turn it on that is) :D

If it's the ASDA one that's fine, I used mine as it came... no idea what fuse is in it. Worst case scenario is it blows and fit a higher rated one.
strange thing, mine alraedy has all tmobile uk data and mms settings alraedy on it? anyone else had that?
Pulls what it needs from the SIM

cheers. does it not say on your plug. i dont want to ruin the phone. i got one from morrisons with a 1amp fuse in.

excellent, thanks for that mate:)

The only difference a 1 amp fuse will make is that it'll cut the current off and blow if a small surge occurs. Having a lower rated fuse than is necessary can never hurt your device. Having a higher rated fuse, on the other hand...
