Anyone in the UK got their Nexus One yet?

Mine arrived today, charged her up and have been using it non stop for 4 hours now.......battery dead (almost).

No worse than the 3G iPhone, so I am still v v happy :)
Whoa 4 hours? What sort of stuff were you doing?

I had promised myself not to check again til the morning. Then I read that and couldn't resist. Prepped myself for the disappointment that follows foolishly raised hopes.

But, in the spirit of all things awesome.... WHAM!

If I had weak bladder problems, I actually would've peed myself then. YAY GOOGLE!
Haha, glad it's finally gone through for you. I was starting to feel guilty at arriving late and getting it before a lot of you'd heard anything.

Haha, this thread is brilliant!! Good luck for tomorrow all you that will get it!
Thanks :)

I'd been poking in and out of this thread before registering to try get an idea how long it'd be 'til mine shipped, once I got that shipping e-mail, all the excitement in this thread just reeled me in.

This seems like a nice friendly forum, a rarity in my experience.

I think Google need to Google the concept of first come first served though.

We have an arrival. Its in East Midlands- I used to be at uni up at Notts, just round the corner from there. That means its about 2 hours away from me in London now. Hopefully the DHL beavers are working through the night.

Thanks :)

I have to agree this forum is friendly- I toyed with getting an n900 until I went on the forums.

though there are still some jump-on-your-head-and-scratch-your-eyes-out-and-poke-their-fingers-up-your-nose people hiding amongst the lovelies. luckily the opposite seem to make up the vast majority :)

Congrats to all the new arrivals..... and departures :)

Waiting for DHL to attempt delivery for a second day today - I am not leaving my sofa until it's here :D

Got my Nexus gang yesterday lunchtime, but had to endure work for the rest of the day before going back to play (then enduring the battery charge bit before turning the damn thing on.....arghhhhhhhhh!).

My first impressions for what they are worth.......coming from an HTC Hero (which will now be sadly eBay'd) is that I like the phone quite a lot, it is really snappy. Did some web page loading on Wifi last night & it was lightning fast - much quicker than the Hero.

Still getting used to some of the Sense widgets which I am losing (bye clocks....sniff, sniff) but ultimately, I felt that Sense was slowing the Hero up at times (plus the eternal wait for HTC to upgrade the versions!). Auto loading to Flickr has gone as on the Hero but I have found another app for

WAHEY! That's tremendous news. Glad that it's going through you'll now spend the next 24hrs trying to work out which flight it'll be on and when you'll receive it.
Mine is at the Edinburgh sorting office now so I'm hoping that I'll see it before lunchtime today.
Although, it's started snowing up here!
**** OFF SNOW.

I can't stay away from this thread, loving the banter!

That 20000 of sales seems low too especially considering how busy the Nexus One forum is.

hrmm well heres whats going on so far.

1/14/2010 6:58 am Arrived at DHL facility.

Bristol, United Kingdom
It got there after leaving east midlands at 4:38am. However I think my local depots weston super mare not bristol so it may not be today unless they do a second round of delivery vans going out in the afternoon :(

My local depot is Coventry and my phone came super quick from EMA. Either they by-pass some depots or they are efficient overnight.

Too many messages to quote... But yeah, I totally agree that this forum is surprisingly friendly! We're all like a bunch of excited kids waiting for Christmas :D.

@markouk: Did your phone land in EMA before going to Edinburgh? I'm in Edinburgh too and yeah... Bloody snow! It's mostly rain though, so here's hoping...

@oniongirl: Yay! Congratulations! I'm guessing our phones will be keeping each other company on the next flight :). *high five*

Apparently so! It got to Edinburgh quick. Tried to look for flights from EMA to EDI but couldn't see it. May have just been transferred through their IT system then actually arrived later in a lorry of some sort.
I know they fly stuff using DHL from EMA to Aberdeen.

Cool, thanks.. Mine's still in Cincinnati Hub (1/14/2010 4:42 am, Processed at DHL Location. Cincinnati Hub, OH) and probably not leaving until tomorrow since I can't find any flights that leave today on the flight tracker. Although I can't see any flights for tomorrow either.. :( Hopefully it's just the tracker that doesn't have the information, I can't believe DHL doesn't have flights every weekday..

Congrats to all who are with courier, I bet you're all super excited!

I'm in same boat as Nelien: 1/14/2010 4:46 am Processed at DHL Location. Cincinnati Hub, OH (pssht, you were 4 mins quicker than me!), but no flights to be found.

Hihi, it's obvious we're being dealt with by the same personnel/in the same batch.. :) And you know, I was 4 minutes quicker than you but, as already pointed out, ordered a whole day ahead of you.. So no complaining now! ;)
