ha, exactly what i was going to type. mines been on charge since 5 and still has an orange light. had my tea, now having a coffee and browsing this forum. the wife has put a crappy film on so i'll be content to play around with my gadget once its charged.
 
don't forget that when the light turns green, it is still only 90%, not 100% :) If you're really wanting to fully charge it :)

Hey, been watching you all for a few days to try get an estimate on when I can expect mine. All of your excitement is contagious. I ordered on the 11th and was holding out until I woke up this morning to the shipping e-mail ... I'm on your flight. :)

I'm having a hard time finding something to occupy myself with. What really sucks is I work with my parents (family business) so I can't even call in sick to play with it. :(

Batteries these days don't need a full fat charge on first use do they?

Wait, WHAT? You ordered on the 11th and already had it shipped?! And it's on a flight expecting to arrive in the UK tonight?

Life is sooo unfair.. You must've had the shortest wait time between order and delivery..

Well, congrats anyway :). Now hoping even MORE that my phone delivers soon!

lol you watch it arrive with a shattered screen. What's worse is it's engraved too, so I was expecting the 3 day wait. :eek:

I'm off to find some wood to cling to for dear life.

If your DHL status is '1/13/2010 7:14 am Depart Facility Cincinnati Hub, OH', then you're phone should be on this flight according to earlier posts - so you are hopefully in line to receive tomorrow. :)

I can't wait to see this AMOLED 240dpi screen, I've used normal LCD 240dpi screens before and they're gorgeous, this AMOLED should blow them away.

Did you have any problems with payment? Have you checked the money has gone from your account? (Or at least showing gone off your balance?)

I was reading on another forum (I think another forum, possibly this one,) that some people are receiving their phones while the Google Checkout status says as yours does. (I hope that hasn't got your hopes up too much.)

Congrats. Have you got a link for the poor sales figures? Is that UK/USA/both? I'd be interested to know what demographic are buying these things so early on (I'm a nerd, love Android, love programming.)

Are you crazy! It shot my hopes up through the roof! :D

And, no, I didn't have any problems with payment, took less than a day for the money to be reserved on my account. It hasn't been officially withdrawn yet though.

Oh well, let's not loose our sanity here, it's only a phone :).

My account shows the amount subtracted from my balance, but it's not listed yet.

My sanity left me long ago, but I have my fingers crossed for you. :)

Ah that is really low compared to the iPhone and Droid. Although the 250,000 Droid buyers aren't going to jump ship and buy a Nexus a month or 2 later.

I was a little surprised at how soon the Nexus was announced after the Droid. I had my eye on the Milestone mainly for the keyboard but when I heard about the Nexus, my mind was made up.
 
I think a lot of people want to see it before buying one. Now people in my office have seen it, some say they will buy one.
 
Although, I was at Uni today, and told a couple of mates I'm tracking my package- they were all impressed with the idea of a Google phone (a couple of winmo and iphone users). Major complaints seemed to be- "I can't see one in the shops", and "that's a lot of money upfront".

Android needs as many adopters as it can get, the more phones the more choice more consumers. I'm not anticipating it to trump the iphone in the short term, maybe it'll get more support in the long run though, most pleased about the idea of an open handset.

same in mine. I dont give a chuff about the figures I just want the phone :) if its as good as it looks dont care how many they sold. plus IMHO google are purposly doing a slow roll out but nevermind lets leave that in the other thread.

As for the order status.. as stated earlier in the thread if you have the message they have received your order it means they accepted the payment method but havent processed it and taken the money yet. From my experience anyway, they dont take the money until they are ready to ship. then it all happens at once
 
*rocks slowly back and forth* money reserved this time last night, but Google still haven't taken it. According to the Google checkout page anyway, can't be bothered to go upstairs and find my PINsentry jig to log in online.
