Just seen on the Motorola forums that today Kitkat starts rolling out to UK devices?

Has anyone seen the update message yet? From what I've read, all UK G's should get the prompt by Friday?
 
Indeed. Bit disappointed as that was an "official" Motorola representatives reply to someone asking for a date.

Hey, it's a Tesco handset but unlocked. For those of you still waiting, not a real visual difference, still playing, testing battery life today, tonight and tomorrow.

It's a 8GB just waiting for the Xperia Z1 compact/Moto X to come out, but too be fair to the budget nature of the Moto G, it's probably the best android phone I've ever had and that includes the SGS4.
 
Just downloading ours now for 16gb from Amazon.

Did check, nothing. Put on charge (at 21%) and message appeared straight away.
