Anyone in the US ordered from overseas and got it?

Ordered mine from Clove on Saturday, got my tracking number today showing it was shipped out. So all should be good so far, says 2-4 days so should be here this week! I'll update if anything goes wrong though!

How much was it after tax and currency conversion and everything?

I just can't get myself to pay $1000 for a phone regardless of whether its 2 in 1 machine.
 
Yeah....I'd also like to know how much the phone was in US dollars for u guys. Also, what know?? U can only use it on ATT....right??

I need to scan the forum, i "thought" i read that someone purchased their Note from the U.S which i think is unlikely.

Any word on when its coming to U.S.? I have a Dell Streak (the first two in one tab/phone device) and its NICE. i cant revert back to anything with a smaller screen even though many of the latest androids are VERY nice!

I just like the tablet/phone concept and convenience in addition to the large 5" screen.

Ended up being $820 after everything. Had it saved up knowing I was going to be blowing money on a device soon, glad it ended up being the Note. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

$820 is not bad actually. I thought it was going to be over $1000 but I guess they don't include the VAT (tax???) if you are getting it sent to the USA. (I confirmed the price too... again, not bad)

I don't know why but the less expensive shipping is faster than the more expensive one? That's weird.

I was wondering if you chose the DHL INT courier or the Air Sure Tracked Mail??

And yes please let us know if you had any issues or what not ordering it through CLOVE.UK. I saw some ebay ones for $799 but I prefer to order from a real company if I am dishing out this much.

Yeah the shipping prices confused me to. I did the standard cheaper shipping without the sure tracked. And..... WAS DELIVERED TODAY! So I ordered on Saturday, obviously it wasn't shipped out till Monday, and I received it in Columbus, OH this morning (Wednesday). Haven't been able to play with it yet, due to being at work. But it's at home waiting for me :D

EDIT: Just to throw it out there, I'm switching from an iPhone. Have had the iPhone since it was first released in 2007 and have been upgrading with them ever since. Super excited to try something radically different, hope it doesn't disappoint!

HAHA, yeah I'm pretty excited about it. I think I'm really going to take a liking to it. I've been debating since the iPhone4 first came out whether or not to switch platforms. And since I saw this mammoth of a phone I've been craving it. Two hours left and I'll have all night with it!

Heh,heh.. Just be sure to wipe the screen "cleen" when ur done fer the night. Have you ever seen the Dell Streak In person? Yes, you are going to fall absolutely in love with the convenience of a tab/phone combo...and the "s I ze "..yup size matters my friend!

Thanks for your replies. I am on the VERGE of ordering one while I check my finances to see what I can sell and what not to make this "cheaper" for me. I didn't know until now that it's less than $850 altogether.

Have fun making love to it.

I hope the US carriers dont do what they normally do and insist on different versions than the rest of the world. I am sure that is why The Iphone has more accesorries.
 
I don't understand why some of you would pay double the price for the Note. I also wonder if you can use these phones from overseas, on the Verizon 4G LTE network? Finally, I assume if you have your own phone you are not bound by any contract periods but are you paying less monthly fees and what do you do if it breaks?

Even if you have to wait a few extra months, which I really don't want to do, perhaps you'll be getting a better phone with Ice Cream Sandwich & Samoled+ and I guess that's it. I doubt you'll get a quad band before the second half of 2012 at least, but the OS and screen and the debug time might be worth the wait and give apps makers a chance to adapt their software. No? I would love to have a 4G LTE Verizon Note by Chanukah and Christmas but what is, is.

I see your point. I wouldn't buy it unless it was a good price and I was sure that it'd work on my carrier. Also I pay for the insurance so that complicates things. C'mon Sprint!!
 
Mine cost $890 australian dollars from mobicity. Took 4 days to be delivered, comes with 12 months insurance but for some reason the bloatware is polish. Fantastic phone, just love the screen. Could never go back to a smaller screen. Its like a mini tv.

Ordered mine from a USA company thru ebay called techno trading house. I read some good reviews and haven't read any crazy disaster stories.

Cost around $765 + overnight shipping. (they apparently included a USA adapter so that helps)

I read some stuff on another topic thread that they are having issues with the polish version or something.

Ehh... hopefully mine works right away.
